It was a balmy evening in a lake resort in Oklahoma. It felt wonderful to walk into the resort auditorium, as the air conditioned atmosphere engulfed me. The banner over the door read “Welcome Class of 84″. It was our twenty year graduation reunion. Some people look forward to these sorts of things, I was just anxious to see all of my old friends. To see how everyone had changed, some people would be grey, some would be missing their hair altogether.

I myself had begun to lose hair on the crown on top of my head. In the past couple
of years it started to become more noticeable. It started out as just thinning, then slowly over time it had become much more noticeable. I never even really thought about it until just a couple of years back due to family members joking around with me. With that in mind I head into my 20 year reunion. I run into all of my old class mates, say hello get caught up with each others lives. Jobs? kids? Aspirations, it felt good to see them all. Bob’s Hair Returned

Here I stand looking at my Uncle Bob, and I’m thinking wasn’t he losing his hair the last time I had seen him. Uncle Bob turns to see me with this astonished look on my face. The corners of his mouth began to turn up as he said “miracles do happen”. Then with a slightly guilty look on his face he mummbles something to himself then then lets out a little chuckle. The look on his face was like “the cat that ate the canary”.

So I look him right in the eye and say “what gives”. Then with a look of utter astoundment he asks “what ever are you talking about”. I mockingly responded with “the hair”. With a statement he asks a question “the hair”? “Yeah! the hair” I ask once again. At this point he says “so you noticed”? Yes I said and add it looks great. What happened, what did you do, how did this happen?
