I am 19 years old, and my hair is thinning so much! it sometimes even looks like there are bald spots! been to 8 doctors, not very helpful, tried using Rogain for women but it gave me headaches. It is making me feel very self conscious! It is difficult for me to wear my hair down. and up! i read that it should be happing to menopausal women whenever i search something, but that is not what it is! i am getting very desperate, and wondering if anyone tried or knows something other than to shave head))) is there anything that is known to work perhaps, or know a solution, or anything!? hehe, another option is a wig i suppose))) but they are expensive…))))) thanks in advance
they did a ton of tests)))))) i had high testosterone, they put me on birth control to level hormone balance. i also have thyroid issue, but medicine helps with that too. i just want to get it back((((
hehe nope, not a vegetarian, but it is good that i am having different ideas and suggestions thrown at me when no one else i’ve seen can help)) keep it coming please!=D

I’m always pretty worried about my mom and her health. She’s 48 going on 49. She’s going through menopause or gone through, and she’s overweight. I’m only 19 years old, and I want her around as long as possible. And she’s taking thyroid and high blood pressure medicine. She went through some sort of tests at the doctor’s, and found out that her arteries and heart was fine. But, I’m still worried, because she doesn’t seem healthy. Now my uncle (her brother), had a severe thyroid problems as a young teenager that landed him in the hospital for months. He’s now been a "health nut" for a couple of decades and doesn’t take any medicine, and is perfectly healthy. In excellent shape. And I was just wondering what natural remedies are out there that actually work, and improve health. And I’m not trying to so much knock doctors and medicine off, but medicine seems to be stronger than ever, and people seem to be getting sicker. You take this pill, and the side effects cause you to take another. Some recipes, or methods would really help. Thanks in advance!!!

Also, on a side note. Can taking birth control cause hair loss? I know birth control….can just kinda screw up your hormones, so I’m wondering if that can contribute. Or does the estrogen actually increase hair growth?
Lately over the past several months, my hair has been thinning gradually, mostly at the very top of my head. I’m noticing it more now when I part my hair. Particualrly when my hair is wet, or a little oily, I notice the thinning more.
There’s nothing in my hair care regimen that is contributing to it, so I’ve narrowed down causes to either Stress, Genetics, and lastly, hormones. So I’m considering buying some rogain. According to WebMD, men’s Rogain ((5%)) has a higher potency of medicine than the women’s does ((2%)). So I’m wondering, is it safe for me to use men’s rogain if I’m a girl? Or is that too powerful.

I'm 21 years old. During my time in Spain I lost some hair and then when I came back from my trip I lost some more. My doctor told me to use Rogaine for women. I did for about 1 month and then stopped. I'm trying to use it again. But, honestly, I feel it's a bad idea to use Rogaine considering my age and that there are natural remedies out there. My dad is bold though, mom has great hair. I think my hair loss is do to the fact that for a year I experienced a lot of anxiety and would comb my hair with my fingers when I was feeling anxious. Should I stop using Rogaine. I read that once you start using Rogaine you can't stop using it is that true? I don't want to be a slave to any medicine.
* I'm not bold, I just lost some hair* I can notice it, but other people can't unless I mention it to them. It looks more like my hair has thinned a little bit.
I meant bald not bold.
