Menopause has been called the change for decades, women don’t discuss it & so when IT happens it’s crippling, to say the least!

My mother SUFFERED from it tremendously & always stated: "It’s just a CHANGE all women must go through!"

Change is an understatement. From what I’ve read & seen first hand, below are SOME of the menopausal symptoms:

PMS, stress, depression/anxiety, panic attacks, extremely moody, rage, body odor, negative thoughts, irrational thoughts, suicidal thoughts, lack of sexual desire, vaginal dryness, itching, hair loss/balding, halitosis, isolation, fear… etc are SOME of the DEVASTATING symptoms of menopause, why must women experience these relentless symptoms?

Hair loss, help please?

I am 16 years old and have had a lot of hair loss. My scalp is visible, and it makes me feel very self consious. I have worried about it for so long, and shouldn’t have to.

its not a hormone related problem, because my levels were tested. i looked at the effect of taking estrogen but i still want to know if could i get estrogen pills to stop hair loss? and would more hair grow in or would my existing hair just grow faster? also would all the hair fall out if i stopped taking the pills?

Thanks in advance

Herbal hair loss remedies –
Herbal hair loss solutions play important role in countering hair problems. Herbal remedies have always been popular in traditional Indian and Chinese medications. Of late, they have been dominating the Western world as well.
Reasons for their popularity
There are mainly two reasons for their popularity.
First, they have fewer side effects. They are the ideal hair loss cures if you are looking for safe, risk free procedures.
Secondly, they are very effective. No, they do not stand for any overnight solution. But you may certainly notice a difference in the thickness, strength, volume and sheen in your hair after using a herbal hair loss remedy. Herbal remedies increase circulation, disinfect the scalp and stimulate hair growth. There are some herbal remedies which also block the synthesis of DHT ( dihydrotestosterone) the natural inhibitor of hair growth.
Some of the herbal hair loss cures that you may find useful are as follows –
• Green tea (Camellia sinesis) – Catechins in green tea inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase that converts testosterone into hair-unfriendly DHT. Therefore drinking green tea everyday is a fruitful treatment for male pattern baldness.
• Ayurvedic Antistress Tea – Consuming this mixed drink of Nardostachys jatamamsi and Bacopa monnieri 2 to 3 times a day relieves stress and prevents hair loss.
• Ginko biloba – It intensifies blood circulation to the scalp and skin. Consuming 120-160mg of dry Ginko extract every day can keep your hair follicles rejuvenated.
• Saw palmetto (Seranoa repens) – This herb is known for slowing hair loss and encouraging hair regrowth. It is a core element of many hair loss formulations. The recommended dose is a 160mg capsule twice each day.
• He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum) – This Chinese herb is used in many commercial preparations for hair loss remedy.
• Pygeum (Pygeum africanum) – Used to treat prostate problems and male pattern baldness. Recommended dosage is 60-500mg per day.
• Stinging Nettle (Urtica diocia) – It blocks the conversion of testosterone into DHT. It delivers wonderful results if taken in combination with Pygeum and Saw Palmetto.
If you are choosing a cosmetic hair product for your self, read its label carefully. Choose a product that is based on the above herbal supplements or contain the natural hair care products.

Besides these herbal remedies there are various dietary supplements which are essential for supplying the adequate nutrition to the hair follicles and ensure good health to your hair. Eating a diet rich in vitamin, minerals, and protein is the best hair loss remedy one can choose.

Could Hair Reappeared

It was a balmy evening in a lake resort in Oklahoma. It felt wonderful to walk into the resort auditorium, as the air conditioned atmosphere engulfed me. The banner over the door read “Welcome Class of 84″. It was our twenty year graduation reunion. Some people look forward to these sorts of things, I was just anxious to see all of my old friends. To see how everyone had changed, some people would be grey, some would be missing their hair altogether.

I myself had begun to lose hair on the crown on top of my head. In the past couple
of years it started to become more noticeable. It started out as just thinning, then slowly over time it had become much more noticeable. I never even really thought about it until just a couple of years back due to family members joking around with me. So at this point I notice things when they are to do with hair loss or to regrow hair.

With that in mind I head into my 20 year reunion. I run into all of my old class mates, say hello get caught up with each others lives. Jobs? kids? Aspirations, it felt good to see them all. Some of them had completely changed, they didn’t look anything like they did when they were in school. On the other hand some of my classmates looked the same only older. Maybe a wrinkle here and there or some grey hair but still recognizable.

After I had been there for a while I ran into my buddy Stan. I hadn’t seen Stan in four or five years. Something seemed as though it had changed about Stan, he came across younger than the last time that I had seen him. While I talked with him I tried to figure out what it was that made him look younger. As I was studying him it finally comes to me like a light bulb that went off over the top of my head. It was his hair before when I had seen him a few years back he was very thin on top but pretty much bald at the crown.

Now it was like going back in time because I standing here looking at Stan and he has a full head of hair. I must have had a look of surprise on my face because Stan leaned over and said “its real and its all my own hair”. No way I say, how did you ever get a full head of hair when I know that your were balding?

Stan looked me in the eye very seriously I stumbled onto a product that made it happen. No miracle cure no mumbo jumbo, just a product that flat out works. You seen me before right Stan said to me. You know how sparse my hair was right, well look at this head of hair now. His hair looked great made him appear to be ten years younger. So I asked him to turn me on to this product, which he cheerfully did.

Now I to have a full head of hair, people tell me I look ten years younger all the time and let me tell you it feels great. If you to would like to stop hair loss and regrow hair then go ahead and visit:

Boost Your Self-Confidence Despite Hair Loss

Many people are confident in handling themselves in front of other people because they are satisfied with the way they look. But for people who are experiencing hair loss, being confident in front of others can be a difficult thing. This is because they cannot help but think that the people they are dealing with only focus on their falling crown of glory and not on what they are saying.

While itís true that hair loss can greatly affect oneís overall physical appearance, this is not enough reason to lose self-confidence totally. If you are one of those persons who are slowly losing their self-confidence due to hair loss, one of the best things that can be done is learning how to cope with it.

Coping with hair loss can start with the acceptance that you might really be suffering from a condition that is really our of your control. Experts say that baldness or hair loss can be categorized into twoópermanent hair loss and temporary hair loss. People who are suffering from permanent hair loss are those who have the condition in their genes. Since it is hereditary, one cannot really do so much about it but to learn how to accept it, and try to seek for alternative remedies that can slower the pace of losing hair. Other conditions where one cannot really do something about hair loss is if they are suffering from autoimmune illnesses such as cancer, thyroid complications or lupus. People who have to undergo treatments are also in greater risks of losing hair fast.

People who are suffering temporary hair loss are those who undergo hormonal changes such as pregnancy in women or taking in birth control pills as well as those who put to much pressure on their scalp by changing hairstyles often or those that are using hair products that are harmful to the hair.

Knowing the cause of your hair loss can help you cope with it easier. Of course, you cannot determine this on your own so you have to visit your doctor to address your concern. Once he or she had the final diagnosis, you can now ask for available treatment or options that will work for you.

Tips to be more confident

People who are losing their hair can still look good despite their condition. Since not so much can be done about their hair, they should try focusing on other aspects of their body and personality to look beautiful and be confident in facing others. The following are some beauty tips and regiments that can be done to boost beauty and self-confidence despite hair loss.

1. Maximize the potentials of make-up.

For women, make-up greatly affects their overall appearance. If you are losing your hair, try to get your confidence from your beautiful face with the aid of some cosmetics. To do this, knowledge in the proper use and application of eyeliner, eye shadows, lipsticks, blush ons and foundations is a must to help you flatter your features and enhance your overall aura if done properly.

2. Take good care of your skin.

Since the skin is the largest organ of the body, having radiant and youthful skis despite hair loss can make a lot of difference. To achieve good skin and fair complexion, make it a habit to use sunscreen to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun, avoid smoking, get enough rest and proper nutrition, learn to relax to avoid too much stress, and get regular exercise.

do you think im losing my hair at 18?

i am really worried about losing my hair. i am 18 and lately my hair has seemed to be falling out more often then it did before. i try not to brush my hair that much especially when its wet because it seems to come out more when i brush it. so for the passed few days i put it up. but today like 40 hairs or more came out and i am really stressed about this. my family doesent have hair loss although since my mom is going through menopause she has some hair loss. o you think that could be why im losing my hair because of all the hormones or maby my hair is getting thicker so i am losing more hair? or do you think im just stressed and thats why its happening. because it did not really start happening until i started worrying about it.
also my hair seems to be having a lot of baby hairs around my face
