Does hrt cause hair loss? I am trying to reduce hrt and my hair is falling out. I decided to increase the dose to where it was orignially to see if it would stop falling out.

So i’ve been reading that green tea increases your testosterone levels, and lowers your estrogen levels. But black tea decreases testosterone levels and increases your estrogen levels.

Is this true?

Because if this were true, wouldn’t drinking green tea cause hair loss? Because high testosterone causes male pattern hair loss on women right? Meanwhile, higher estrogen levels cause thicker hair on women right?

Actually now that i think about it, if green tea increases testosterone it would do a lot of bad things…..

-cause acne
-oil skin
-hair loss

so does drinking too much of it do this?
Lol well i know it sounds bad. But i was thinking about it, and i drink a lot of green tea and i have oily skin and I’m prone to breakouts. So i was kind of just putting the 2 and 2 together. I just want to make sure that in the long run I’m not going to ruin my hair because of drinking green tea, when really i could just switch to black tea.
I never really thought about sugar before. I use honey so i didn’t think it matters because honey is natural. Well i probably drink anywhere from 5 to 10 cups a day, and for each cup i have a teaspoon of honey.

Also, on a side note. Can taking birth control cause hair loss? I know birth control….can just kinda screw up your hormones, so I’m wondering if that can contribute. Or does the estrogen actually increase hair growth?
Lately over the past several months, my hair has been thinning gradually, mostly at the very top of my head. I’m noticing it more now when I part my hair. Particualrly when my hair is wet, or a little oily, I notice the thinning more.

There’s nothing in my hair care regimen that is contributing to it, so I’ve narrowed down causes to either Stress, Genetics, and lastly, hormones. So I’m considering buying some rogain. According to WebMD, men’s Rogain ((5%)) has a higher potency of medicine than the women’s does ((2%)). So I’m wondering, is it safe for me to use men’s rogain if I’m a girl? Or is that too powerful.

Trying to find the natural remedy for dandruff (NO i dont want to know about anti dandruff shampoos, they cause hair loss later on) I want to know if anyone knows what the BODY is lacking that creates dandruff.

Also, are there any proven natural remedies to control or rid of this condition? Any harm in using those tar shampoos over a long period of time? I am hesistant to do anything which will cause hair loss and am scared if I don't that the seborrheic dermatitis will itself cause hair loss. I also have it on face now Any sufferers know how to control this?

regrowth, can it cause hair loss from prolonged use? even tho the directions say u have 2 use it forever once u get hair growth? been on it 7mos.
