Should I continue using Rogaine?
I'm 21 years old. During my time in Spain I lost some hair and then when I came back from my trip I lost some more. My doctor told me to use Rogaine for women. I did for about 1 month and then stopped. I'm trying to use it again. But, honestly, I feel it's a bad idea to use Rogaine considering my age and that there are natural remedies out there. My dad is bold though, mom has great hair. I think my hair loss is do to the fact that for a year I experienced a lot of anxiety and would comb my hair with my fingers when I was feeling anxious. Should I stop using Rogaine. I read that once you start using Rogaine you can't stop using it is that true? I don't want to be a slave to any medicine.
* I'm not bold, I just lost some hair* I can notice it, but other people can't unless I mention it to them. It looks more like my hair has thinned a little bit.
I meant bald not bold.

just accept your fate gracefully. lots of bald guys are successful in life and women are impressed by a guy with confidence not hair.
It is pretty common for people to occasionally go through periods of losing hair. Mostly this can be related to stress or an acute illness (like an illness that leads to high fever). There are of course other causes but if you are a reasonably healthy 21 year old, I would expect these explanations would be most likely. Work on your anxiety and break the habit of tugging at your hair.
You can stop Rogaine any time you like (used correctly, the amount of Minoxidil absorbed into the scalp from Rogaine is not enough to cause serious side effects. The most common side effect of Rogaine is itching where the product is applied (in 6% of people). Pregnant or nursing women should not use Minoxidil).
Go on to use natural methods to promote hair growth and strengthen your hair. You can expect it to take around 3 months to get things back to normal.
