I’m 33 and had a hysterectomy ar 31. Will I age faster?
I'm not doing HRT because of the side effects and the long time I would have to do it. I've already gone through my menopause. I've noticed I am getting the same body changes as my mom, i.e. hair where I don't want it, memory loss, weird weight gain, change in my skin texture. Has my body turned into the body of a 60 year old?

Hello
It's a bugger being a woman sometimes hey?
I too had a radical hysterectomy when I was 31. I am now 47 and have not had any HRT nor will I in the future. I was afraid of the increase of breast cancer, which back in 1991 when I had my surgery, research was showing a link between the two. This scared the life out of me, and I then made my decision not to take HRT. I also have had the hair grow where it shouldn't aswell as weight gain and rapid menopause, night sweats, (don't you just love them) but all in all after 16 years feel fine. Have had bone density testing to shut my Dr. up with showed no significant loss. I would imagine, like myself, to have extreme surgery such as hysterectomy at such a young age, you would have been quite ill. Just enjoy life and live life to the fullest, with or without a hairy chin
