How can I lose the weight PCOD has helped me gain?
I am 30 yrs old and I have PCOD. This makes it impossibly difficult for me to stay on a diet and exercise routine. I have to lose 100 pounds so that I can hopefully soon conceive. Recently, I lost 5 pounds in a matter of a week by staying on a diet consisting of fruits, steamed vegetables, fish, chicken, etc. I briskly walked on the treadmill for 30 mins once a day. But sooner or later I always fall off the wagon, and that's where I'm stuck. To top that, I have a voracious sweet tooth.
Its so hard for me to get back to exercising. And if I don't exercise, I make very poor food choices. Its a vicious cycle I cant seem to break from.
Is there anyone who was or is in the same situation? How did you overcome it? How did you lose the weight? The hormonal imbalance I'm plagued with (no estrogen and an overload of testosterone) has given me other symptoms such as excessive hair-loss and facial hair. I feel disgustingly fat, ugly, and completely hopeless.
What are some good weight-loss pills I could use (for a placebo effect)or something else that will aid in my weight-loss struggle? Please help. I am desperate and at the end of my tether. Thanks so much.

buy a used copy of Hot Hips and Fabulous Thighs by Ellington Darden off of amazon. probably get a copy for a few $.
i have a library full of diet, nutrition and fitness books and this is absolutely one of the best because it is so easy to follow.
other suggestion would be I Can Make You Thin by Paul McKenna.
suggested because of your negative feelings and also because it is an easy plan to follow also.might even be a better idea than 1st.
unless you have some professional help(which the books are) you probably have virtually no chance of success because you don't appear to possess the skills necessary to succeed.
good luck
Paul McKenna also has a good weight loss site and sparkpeople site might be good to check out also.
btw. im a weight lifter and don't pay that much attention to my appearance because i am more interested in developing strength but did recently use an ellington darden book to lose weight(30lbs).the techniques to lose weight are easy. just have to be mentally strong enough to put into action until you reach your goal.
