At some time in their life women everywhere have to deal with menopause. One of the main symptoms for menopause is hot flashes.

Because they are not something that is easy to deal with any woman that has to deal with these starts looking for menopause hot flashes relief.

The hot flashes can hit at the most frustrating times and can hit with no warning. There is no cure, but there are some things you can do to get relief. They are just something you have to minimize in all the ways you can and that you have to learn to deal.

Here are the best things every woman can do to help relieve the amount of hot flashes you get.

One: Keep track of the hot flashes – When you want to find relief it is important to know when you are getting the flashes and what you are doing at the time. You will be able to better determine what may have caused it by keeping a log of when you get a hot flash.

Knowing what caused it can help you avoid doing that activity for a while. Plus you will be able to figure out the best way to relieve the flash by knowing what it was caused by.

Two: Exercising – Many women have found that exercising at least 30 minutes every day will help to reduce the amount of hot flashes that they get. An exercise as simple as walking 30 minutes a day will go a long way towards relieving the flashes and help reduce the amount you have.

Women are using Yoga as a good exercise to help them find much needed relief from the hot flashes.

Three: Keep your body cool – The more cool you can keep your body and still be comfortable the better off you will be. Try sitting in a room that is cooler than you normally have it and you will find some relief; though the people living with you may complain.

If you are too hot you can also try taking a cool bath or shower to cool off. Try and find ways that are easy for you to keep your body cool.

Four: Breathe deep – Hot flashes cause stress and stress can add to how hot your body feels. You can relieve some of the stress and also help to cool your body down by breathing deep and doing some breathing exercises.

Now that you understand how to find hot flashes relief you will find menopause a litte easier to deal with; all that remains is to start using one or more so you can feel more comfortable. Dealing with menopause is not a fun thing for any woman, but like with the hot flashes there is relief available if you just look for it.

So, I’ve been sick for the past 5 years and progressively things have gotten worse. My parents have been extremely supportive and I have been able to continue going to school and working, with their help; however, my entire family is frustrated and WE WANT ANSWERS. I’ve read some post by others that are asking medical related answers, and generally the responses are, get a diagnosis from a medical doctor or something to that affect, which is great advise, until you’re the patient that has all of the doctors stumped. So, I guess what I’m looking for is more of an idea generating forum rather than an answer. I know I can’t be the only one out there with these symptoms, but whatever is going on, is getting missed for some reason or another. Below there is a list of symptoms and some things that have been off with some test results. If they sound familiar, please let me know.

Symptoms:
Passing out (1-3 times per week) with this there are two types of passing out. Sometimes I feel it coming and if I sit down or put me feet up, I’m fine, but the other type I don’t have any warning, I just wake up on the ground.
low blood pressure
easy bruising
urinary retention/neurogenic bladder
calcium, blood and protein in urine
stomach pain
nausea
vomiting
reflux
weight loss
menopausal symptoms
cold and heat intolerance
cold extremeties
pain in joints (back, hands, hips)
headaches/ migraines
sleep problems/ insomnia
pins and needles or burning sensation in feet and hands
seizures
hair loss
food intolerance (dairy, gluten)
cough
skin irritations (itching, hives, rashes
skin/ muscle knots
eye problems (itching, blurry, tingling)

Test Results:
low lymphs
high DHEA
high hemoglobin
high neutrophils
high hematocrit
WBC Esterate (2+)
Protein (1+)
Occult (3+)
Nitrite pos
WBC pos
RBC pos
low BUN
low BUN/Creatine Ratio

Thanks for your help!
The occult was from urine test results, but they have found blood in all there tests, but can’t figure out where it is coming from. Here is a list of specialists I have seen: rheumatology, GI, neurology, urology, reproductive endocrinology

Thanks again everyone.

It is making me feel very self conscious! It is difficult for me to wear my hair down. and up! i read that it should be happing to menopausal women whenever i search something, but that is not what it is! i am getting very desperate, and wondering if anyone tried or knows something other than to shave head))) is there anything that is known to work perhaps, or know a solution, or anything!? hehe, another option is a wig i suppose))) but they are expensive…))))) thanks in advance
they did a ton of tests)))))) i had high testosterone, they put me on birth control to level hormone balance. i also have thyroid issue, but medicine helps with that too. i just want to get it back((((
hehe nope, not a vegetarian, but it is good that i am having different ideas and suggestions thrown at me when no one else i’ve seen can help)) keep it coming please!=D

But, i heard hair loss starts after menopause. my mom said its just the cycle of my hair, and im stressed out which adds to my hair loss. i read that eating stuff with more zinc prevents hair loss, like meat or seafood. I haven’t had my period for about 2 months, maybe thats a reason? I usually wear my hair down, then after school i put it into a bun. my mom says i brush my hair too hard, so im trying to stop brushing it too hard.
what should i do? im scared.
please help me, im so scared.
