its not a hormone related problem, because my levels were tested. i looked at the effect of taking estrogen but i still want to know if could i get estrogen pills to stop hair loss? and would more hair grow in or would my existing hair just grow faster? also would all the hair fall out if i stopped taking the pills?

Thanks in advance

It was a balmy evening in a lake resort in Oklahoma. It felt wonderful to walk into the resort auditorium, as the air conditioned atmosphere engulfed me. The banner over the door read “Welcome Class of 84″. It was our twenty year graduation reunion. Some people look forward to these sorts of things, I was just anxious to see all of my old friends. To see how everyone had changed, some people would be grey, some would be missing their hair altogether.

I myself had begun to lose hair on the crown on top of my head. In the past couple
of years it started to become more noticeable. It started out as just thinning, then slowly over time it had become much more noticeable. I never even really thought about it until just a couple of years back due to family members joking around with me. So at this point I notice things when they are to do with hair loss or to regrow hair.

With that in mind I head into my 20 year reunion. I run into all of my old class mates, say hello get caught up with each others lives. Jobs? kids? Aspirations, it felt good to see them all. Some of them had completely changed, they didn’t look anything like they did when they were in school. On the other hand some of my classmates looked the same only older. Maybe a wrinkle here and there or some grey hair but still recognizable.

After I had been there for a while I ran into my buddy Stan. I hadn’t seen Stan in four or five years. Something seemed as though it had changed about Stan, he came across younger than the last time that I had seen him. While I talked with him I tried to figure out what it was that made him look younger. As I was studying him it finally comes to me like a light bulb that went off over the top of my head. It was his hair before when I had seen him a few years back he was very thin on top but pretty much bald at the crown.

Now it was like going back in time because I standing here looking at Stan and he has a full head of hair. I must have had a look of surprise on my face because Stan leaned over and said “its real and its all my own hair”. No way I say, how did you ever get a full head of hair when I know that your were balding?

Stan looked me in the eye very seriously I stumbled onto a product that made it happen. No miracle cure no mumbo jumbo, just a product that flat out works. You seen me before right Stan said to me. You know how sparse my hair was right, well look at this head of hair now. His hair looked great made him appear to be ten years younger. So I asked him to turn me on to this product, which he cheerfully did.

Now I to have a full head of hair, people tell me I look ten years younger all the time and let me tell you it feels great. If you to would like to stop hair loss and regrow hair then go ahead and visit:

Most people normally shed fifty to one hundred hairs a day. But with about 100,000 hairs in the scalp, this amount of hair loss shouldn’t cause noticeable thinning of the scalp hair. Gradual thinning is a normal part of aging. However, thinning hair may lead to baldness when the rate of shedding exceeds the rate of regrowth, when new hair is thinner than the hair shed or when hair comes out in patches. Genetic hair loss isn’t due to excessive amounts of hair falling out, as many believe, but to an insufficient amount of hairs growing back to replace the hairs that have been shed.
Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.
During pregnancy, high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. When the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.
Hair loss may also occur if you are taking medication. Only certain medications may cause hair loss. However when the medication is stopped your hair will begin to grow back. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners, birth control pills and antidepressants, medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer.
Male-pattern baldness is the most common cause of hair loss in men. Men who have this type of hair loss usually have inherited the trait. Men who start losing their hair at an early age tend to develop more extensive baldness. In male-pattern baldness, hair loss typically results in a receding hair line and baldness on the top of the head.
Infections, such as ringworm, can invade the hair and skin of your scalp, leading to hair loss. Once infections are treated, hair generally grows back. Ringworm, a fungal infection, can usually be treated with a topical or oral antifungal medication.
Having inadequate protein or iron in your diet or poor nourishment in other ways can cause you to experience hair loss. Fad diets, crash diets and certain illnesses, such as eating disorders, can cause poor nutrition.
One of the most common forms of hair loss is caused by an auto-Immune disorder called Alopecia Areata. This is a disease that causes the white blood cells to attack the hair follicles. The result is a temporary loss of hair.
Head injury like chemical, severe damage from a blunt object, and over-exposure to extreme low temperatures run the risk of total and permanent hair loss. Wearing a tight helmet over a long period of time is technically not a head injury, but the continuous pressure it causes, can lead to permanent hair loss as well.

So i’ve been reading that green tea increases your testosterone levels, and lowers your estrogen levels. But black tea decreases testosterone levels and increases your estrogen levels.

Is this true?

Because if this were true, wouldn’t drinking green tea cause hair loss? Because high testosterone causes male pattern hair loss on women right? Meanwhile, higher estrogen levels cause thicker hair on women right?

Actually now that i think about it, if green tea increases testosterone it would do a lot of bad things…..

-cause acne
-oil skin
-hair loss

so does drinking too much of it do this?
Lol well i know it sounds bad. But i was thinking about it, and i drink a lot of green tea and i have oily skin and I’m prone to breakouts. So i was kind of just putting the 2 and 2 together. I just want to make sure that in the long run I’m not going to ruin my hair because of drinking green tea, when really i could just switch to black tea.
I never really thought about sugar before. I use honey so i didn’t think it matters because honey is natural. Well i probably drink anywhere from 5 to 10 cups a day, and for each cup i have a teaspoon of honey.

Also, on a side note. Can taking birth control cause hair loss? I know birth control….can just kinda screw up your hormones, so I’m wondering if that can contribute. Or does the estrogen actually increase hair growth?
Lately over the past several months, my hair has been thinning gradually, mostly at the very top of my head. I’m noticing it more now when I part my hair. Particualrly when my hair is wet, or a little oily, I notice the thinning more.

There’s nothing in my hair care regimen that is contributing to it, so I’ve narrowed down causes to either Stress, Genetics, and lastly, hormones. So I’m considering buying some rogain. According to WebMD, men’s Rogain ((5%)) has a higher potency of medicine than the women’s does ((2%)). So I’m wondering, is it safe for me to use men’s rogain if I’m a girl? Or is that too powerful.

I'd love to hear from others who have helpful tips for my future developments.

And to the religous sector please no harsh words. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I did confirm with my doc about the Saw Palmetto.
SP helps with keeping the prostate in check. The one side affect is that it helps with hair loss.
