biotin and hair loss
Crohn's disease, hair loss, and biotin?
Hey guys, I have had Crohn's disease for about a year and my hair was slowly thinning. After talking with the doctor has said that the body was ur most likely not be enough nutrients … My question is that taking biotin will help me to get .. hair thicker I just started taking it .. I take a pill with 2500 mcg average multi-vitamin every morning .. 2500 mcg is sufficient, or should I EN 5000 up to display the results .. HELLP or any other advice would be much appreciated! I'm staying with 2500 mcg for a couple of months and see if you notice any difference. But it takes time for new hair growth to be noticed. I lost hair to chemotherapy and it took about a month before I noticed a growth. You can also ask the doctor for a referral to a nutritionist to help you find the right balance of nutrients for your personal needs.
