2 doctors I have seen diagnosed my hair loss, however, I keep losing it. I have just begun HRT and the only other prescription meds I take is for high blood pressure. My hair loss has been going on for 19 months. There is almost a complete circle around the middle of my head where the hair loss is occurring
I was on minoxidil and proscar (1/4 tablet daily), and I have a bloated face and a beer belly, even though I have never drank a day in my life. I am off both medications now, but I am trying to get rid of this estrogen related fat. Is it reversible? Should I just wait it out or can I do/take something to address this issue?
I'm wondering if I might be going through menopause…I'm only 31 but for the last seven months I have been having major physical issues. My mom and my grandmother didn't go through menopause until their 60's and none of my sisters have experienced any of these symptoms but I'm not sure what else it could be. My symptoms are these: hair loss, weight loss/gain (it constantly fluctuates), haven't had my period in seven months, facial hair growth (a lot of it!!), hot flashes and constant acne.
I talked to a doctor about this four months ago and he told me it was stress. But I'm not stressed, I have nothing (except this) to worry me! I'm really starting to get concerned especially because my husband and I want to start a family. Can anyone help??
My partner is in his mid 20s n he's jus losing hair.. his hairs thinning a lot and im scared he'll be going bald soon!!
he says its a genetic thing but its not really.. He's been using these natural figaro medications n shampoos n stuff that are supposed to be helping hair growth but i dont see a difference..
My hair is also thinning at the front.. but its not as serious as his.. but still id like a fuller head of hair!! and so is my mum by the way.. she's got so much less hair than she did when she was younger.. just wondering if anybody knows of any natural remedy or things we can do @ home to make all this hair grow back!
plz only suggest if ur sure.. we dont wanna go balder than we already are.. hahaha
Thanks
He's already been to the doctor and done some tests and she said there's nothing showing in the tests and he just has to live with it!
What is the best way to prevent further hair loss in women?

Cherick314 Hello, I have a girlfriend who uses this product: http://www.new-hair-growth-now.com seems that in reality work for you. After one month I noticed a difference in her hair. It seemed more complete and looked even brighter, go figure. They say that hereditary hair loss or alopecia, (the scientific name of the female pattern baldness), is said to represent 95% of female hair loss. This can help women in the prevention of thinning hair due to FPB, and support natural hair regrowth. I think you can try for free for the first 2 months. Take care;)

I've been getting terrible night sweats for 2 years. I've considered every possibility and nothing seems to be causing them. My doctor did a thyroid btest and I went for a thyroid ultrasound and everything is fine. I've had every blood test from HIV to hepatitis and all are negative.
I've ruled out the obvious (too many blankets, hot room, etc). Even with a light blanket I wake up in the middle of the night soaked from head to toe & so is the bed. This happens about 3-5 night/ week. My husbands says I'm a human hot water bottle and he can feel how hot I am if he touches me while I'm sleeping.
I'm SO tired of changing sheets and waking up in the middle of the night freezing from my bed being soaked with sweat.
I take a couple medications: Paxil daily, Benadryl or sudafed sometimes. It doesn't matter what I take as the night swears seem to happen randomly.
Haven't had hormone levels tested yet, but I know I'm NOT having early menopause as my cycles are normal. BTW, I'm 34 yrs old.
Also, I have hair loss and regrowth all over my head. No baldness patterns and lots of hair regrowth, but it's still falling out. I don't know if hair loss & night sweats are related.
